Au Pair

Overview

If you wish to come to Norway as an Au Pair, you need a residence permit. As an au pair, you can improve your language skills and learn about Norwegian society by living with a Norwegian family. In return, you will provide services such as light housework and/or child care for the host family.

Please click on each of the tabs above for more information or visit the websites of the Norwegian Directorate of Immigration (UDI) and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Islamabad.

Kindly note that VFS will send the application by courier mail to the Norwegian Embassy in Abu Dhabi, which is responsible for the further examination.
